Entertainment with Naruto Animation
The fantastic story of the ninja kid called Naruto Uzumaki has been shown in the very popular 220 animated series of Naruto episodes that has today become a household name due to its rising popularity.
Naruto was first made for the Japanese TV Tokyo which later became so popular that Viz Media brought it to North America. Studio Pierrot produced the series which was actually created by Masashi Kishimoto and immortalized in the Japanese comic called manga in 1997.
The series was broadcasted on TV Tokyo from October 3, 2002 to February 8, 2007 and was first made in the Japanese language which was later translated into English for telecast in cartoon network’s toonami division. Both the versions were instant hits as the handsome and fighting kid won hearts across the sea.
The story unfolds in Konohagakure, one among the 5 great Shinobi nations in the Naruto world. It is one among the five great Shinobi nations and it is here where Naruto engages in all kinds of mischief trying to prove his bravery and expertise in ninja. The boy has a great vision to reach the post of Hokage which will bring him up to the level of the country’s rulers. All characters of this animated series like Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno have been beautifully crafted and woven into the story.
Apart from cartoon network, the Naruto episodes were shown on Bionix and Jetix UK as well. The original manga had 27 volumes and the animation series had 220 episodes concocting both the raw story and some additional plotting. However the ninja kid’s fans so far have only been treated to 209 Naruto episodes. There are rumors that Viz will resume the telecast but these rumors are still to be confirmed.
It was obvious that the producers would not let die the cartoon icon which had created waves by then and so they have brought out DVDs with the Naruto episodes. These have the series as such with minimum changes incurred. You can also get the season wise episodes of the series in a single DVD. The series producers have also compiled the first 135 Naruto episodes in a single DVD titled ‘Naruto The Best Scene’. The episodes can also be watched online on video sharing sites and myspace, youtube etc. The Ninja kid’s adventures have also been made into a movie following its mass appeal.
